Education Ministry Partners With Firm to Expedite Delivery of Diplomas

The Ministry of Education and the Afghan Post Company signed a memorandum of understanding to make it easier for graduates of the 12th grade to get their school diplomas.

This memorandum also addresses document amendments, suspensions, and other document issues.

According to the Ministry of Education, more than 200,000 certificates over two years have been given out to graduates of 12th grade, and around one million diplomas have been freshly printed.

"We are holding this meeting so that the documents arrive in a safe and correct manner, and to facilitate the process,” said Abdul Khaliq Sadiq, deputy of Quality Assurance at the Ministry of Education.

The CEO of the state-owned Afghan Post company said signing a contract with the Ministry of Education would benefit the people of the country.

"We both signed this memorandum to provide ease to the people of the country,” said Rahmatullah Maki, head of the Afghan Post Company.

In the meantime, Mawlawi Abdul Baqi Haqqani, head of the National Examination Authority of Afghanistan, welcomed the signing of this memorandum and said that it is necessary for the Islamic Emirate to create opportunities for people in all departments.

"Just as it is required of the Islamic government to meet the religious and Islamic needs of the people, so is it necessary for the Islamic Emirate to fulfill the worldly needs of the people,” said Haqqani.

"We make things easier for our countrymen. They spend their time and their economy by traveling to obtain a certificate. Other documents you have will be delivered to your house for a little cost,” said Najibullah Haqqani, the acting minister of communications and information technology.

Previously, the state-owned company Afghan Post signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Higher Education and a private domestic aviation company to facilitate the process of educational documents.
