A source told TOLOnews that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the leader of Pakistan's Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party, met with Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Islamic Emirate, this morning (Wednesday) in Kandahar.

The source added that the meeting was held only between Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and the leader of the Islamic Emirate.
 
Pakistani media also reported about the visit.

However, officials of the Islamic Emirate have not yet commented on this.

On Sunday, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, accompanied by a delegation including the head of mission of Pakistan in Kabul, Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani, arrived in Kabul.
