Clashes Resume In Kunduz After Eid Ceasefire

Taliban attacked security forces’ check posts in Kunduz province on Monday night killing at least four security force members, Kunduz provincial media office said Tuesday. 
 
According to officials the attack happened in Dasht-e-Archi Bazar. At least seven Taliban fighters were killed and five others were wounded in the clash. 
 
During the clash two ANA soldiers and two local police force members were killed. In addition two other ANA soldiers and two policemen were wounded, officials said. 
 
The wounded security force members are reportedly in a stable condition.
 
This was the first clash in Kunduz since the end of the Eid ceasefire on Sunday night.
