NDS Special Unit Seize Explosive Laden Car

The Special Unit of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) has captured two suicide bombers along with a car full of explosive devices in Kabul’s Surobi district, NDS said in a statement. 

According to the statement, the two suicide bombers were ordered by the Peshawar Council to carry out an explosive attack in Kabul city. 

According to the statement the Taliban had a meeting in Peshawar and decided to carry out a number of attacks in Kabul city against specific targets such as military facilities, security forces convoys and in crowded areas. 

The statement said Qari Baryali, Taliban’s shadow governor for Kapisa province has been responsible for carrying out a range of attacks in Kabul. 

The explosive-laden car was stopped by the NDS’s special unit in Surobi district on Monday afternoon. 

According to the statement, the men the NDS arrested were involved in a number of attacks on Afghan security forces in the past in different parts of the country.
