Last year, food, oil and machinery, iron and garments were the most imported goods in Afghanistan.

The Central Statistics Organization (CSO) says in a report that with the increase in domestic production of these commodities, in addition to reducing the trade deficit, economic growth and job creation in the country will improve dramatically.

The Ministry of Commerce said that the "productive Afghanistan plan" which includes import substitution, will soon be presented to the high economic council, which will be implemented after approval by the council.

In this episode of Bazar, host Shogofa Danish discusses the topic with Sakhi Ahmad Paiman, head of Afghanistan Industry Owners Association.
