Ariana Resumes Flights to UAE’s Al Ain

Ariana Afghan Airlines has resumed flights to Al Ain in the UAE after seven-years, officials of the airline company said on Thursday. 

According to officials, commodities will also be carried on flights along with passengers. The first flight took place on October 15, and so far there have been four flights, the officials said.

“Ariana Airlines has resumed two flights each week to Al Ain to provide further services to the passengers. The flights are conducted on Saturday and Wednesday,” said Ahmad Seyar Sekandari, an official of the company. 

The Afghan traders in the UAE expressed happiness over the resumption of flights between Kabul and Al Ain, saying that the resumption of flights will increase trade rate between the two countries. 

“If the trade flights between, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Kandahar, Kabul and Khost airports begins, it will be a great achievement and will benefit the Afghan traders,” said Jamal Nasir Ibadi, an Afghan trader in the UAE. 

The Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation said that they will facilitate the airline companies so they can resume their flights.

“The Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation strives to provide facilities and standard services to the passengers,” said Imamuddin Ahmadi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Transpiration and Civil Aviation.

Ariana Afghan Airlines said it is currently running flights to Iran, Russia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey and India.
