The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi, met with Iranian Ambassador Hassan Kazemi Qomi in Kabul.

Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, deputy spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tweeted that during the meeting Iran's water rights to the Helmand River were discussed, and the acting foreign minister emphasized that the issues between Kabul and Tehran can be resolved through "dialogue and understanding."
