Law For Hearing Complaints Ratified: Ministry

The Ministry of Vice and Virtue stated that the law for hearing complaints, consisting of 2 chapters and 23 articles, has been ratified by the leader of the Islamic Emirate.

Sayed Ali Sediqullah, deputy minister of the Ministry of Vice and Virtue, said that last year, one 1,700 complaints were addressed, which shows a decrease compared to previous years.

“Insh Allah, based on this endorsed law, the gap between the nation and the government will be eliminated, and the complaints of the poor and destitute will be addressed, and their lives and properties will be protected,” Sediqullah said. 

According to Sediqullah, based on this law, the ministry is obligated to create an environment where people can freely register their complaints.

Among the 1,700 complaints registered last year in Kabul, there are complaints made by people against officials and soldiers of the Islamic Emirate. 

Sayed Ali Sediqullah said that the satisfaction of the people with the performance of the Islamic Emirate and its officials has led to a decrease in the number of complaints.

“This year, the level of complaints in Kabul has decreased, with only 1,700 complaints registered; however, in previous years, there had been a higher number of complaints recorded,” he added.

According to officials, more than 5,000 complaints were registered in the first year of the Islamic Emirate's rule.

Based on the information from the Ministry of Vice and Virtue, women also have the right to register complaints, and people can share their complaints with the ministry 24 hours a day.
