At last four security forces were killed and two others were wounded in a Taliban attack in eastern Nangarhar province on Wednesday night, said Attaullah Khogyani, a spokesman for provincial governor.  

The incident happened in Khogyani district of the province after the Taliban attack the security forces, he said, adding that “10 Taliban were also killed in the clashes and several others were wounded.” 

However, he did not provide more details about the clashes. 

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
