Hamidreza Ahmadi, the new head of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif, speaking at a press conference condemned Israel's attack on Iran's consulate in Syria and stated that Israel does not adhere to any international laws.
Ahmadi also expressed appreciation for the Islamic Emirate's stance against Israel's attacks on the people of Gaza and the Iranian consulate in the city of Damascus.
The Consul General of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif said: "We must thank the authorities of the Islamic Emirate who really had appropriate positions both in this attack and in condemning the actions of this regime over the past six months, as well as in the recent incident that happened to the diplomatic building of Iran in Damascus."
Some religious scholars, experts, and residents of Mazar-e-Sharif also called on Islamic countries to stand against these attacks by Israel.
"The key to the success of Muslims is unity. What you see is the misery resulting from disputes and the fragmentation of the Islamic nation," said Abdul Rauf Tawana, a political affairs expert.
"I call upon Islamic countries as a religious scholar and a cleric, saying you have a religious and Islamic responsibility, come together and at least make a loud statement if you cannot stop this crime, so that the oppressed and unfortunate people of Palestine do not burn under the fire of war, and Islamic countries can stop this criminal country," said Hussain Ali Bayani, a religious scholar.
The attack on Monday evening on the Iranian consulate building in the city of Damascus, the capital of Syria, which reportedly killed 7 people including two senior commanders of the Iranian forces, has provoked widespread reactions at the regional and global level.
