Mullah Baradar: The West is Responsible for Lack of Afghan Progress

The economic deputy of the PM, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar in the opening ceremony of a commercial and residential center, said the West is the main cause of Afghanistan's lack of development in the economic and political sectors. 

“The West has affected all countries and they were expelled from Afghanistan in shame, for this reason, they don’t want Afghanistan to progress,” said Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar. 

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar urged traders to return to the country and invest here. 

“All traders that are in Afghanistan and abroad, we ask them to return and invest here,” said Mullah Abdul Ghani. 

According to the officials, the Gulbahar commercial and residential center opened in Kabul is worth 70 million dollars.

“In this center, more than $70 million has been invested and in the next three years this project will be completed,” said Gulam Rabani Rabani, CEO of the Gulbahar Commercial and residential center. 

The Chamber of Commerce and Investment said that if proper opportunities are provided to businessmen, they will invest in various sectors in the country. 

“More than $70 million has been invested in this center, and in the next three years this project will be complete,” said Mohammad Younus Momand, acting head of the ACCI.
