Rashid's Wrong'un Outfoxes Dhoni in IPL

Rashid Khan, the Afghan spinner, outfoxed MS Dohni in the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Tuesday night, according to a Deccan Chronicle report.

While Chennai Super Kings’ batting has won them matches with ease, Sunrisers bowling lineup has blown away opposition teams, even while defending a low total.

Tuesday’s contest witnessed some key battles between players from both sides. The clash between Rashid and Dhoni was seen as a mouth-watering prospect, but the Afghanistan spinner emerged victorious in the battle.

It was the fourth ball of the seventh over when Rashid went through Dhoni's defense and disturbed his leg stump.

Dohni failed to read the wrong 'un from Rashid as he lunged forward, to push the ball too square, the ball went through the huge gap between bat and pad and disturbed the stumps.

However, Sunrisers fell in the IPL preliminary final after they lost the match by two wickets.

Sunrisers will now have to beat the winner of the eliminator between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals in order to progress through to the final, according to a Stuff report.

"The game did swing our way, and bowlers were outstanding, but we didn't quite execute it like in the past," Sunrisers captain Kane Williamson said.

"Hopefully we can cross the line in Kolkata and come back here [for the final]. Faf played a beautiful knock, and credit to the way they scrapped it," he said.

The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals will start on Wednesday at 7pm Kabul time.
