Toofan Harirod F.C. won the Afghanistan Premier League's (APL) Cup for the second year in a row and for the third time in its career after beating Shaheen Asmayee F.C. which has won the title four times.
The only goal of the match was scored by Toofan’s Hatam Shirdil at 95th minute of the match.
Shaheen had many in 90 minutes of the match but could not score a goal.
But the extra times started with back to back attacks by Toofan which finally helped them to score the only goal of the match.
Shaheen again created many chances for a goal despite playing with 10 players after 100th minute of the match.
The two teams faced each other in last year’s final match as well.
The thrilling match was between Shaheen Asmayee, from the capital, Kabul, the four times title holder of APL, and Toofan Harirod, from the western zone, at the Afghanistan FootballFederation stadium in Kabul.
