Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq, said Sunday that Pakistan's foreign minister has invited Abdullah Abdullah to pay an official visit to Pakistan.

Sadiq also said that Pakistan-Afghanistan relations are moving forward.

Meanwhile, Abdullah said that he had a meeting with Pakistan ambassador Nasrullah Khan and discussed the peace process and regional engagements toward a comprehensive settlement.

Abdullah also thanked the ambassador for the official invitation and said he will visit Pakistan at an opportune time.
