Efforts Underway for Standard Education System: Nadim

The acting Minister of Higher Education, Neda Mohammad Nadim, said that efforts are underway to form a standard education system in the country.

Nadim said that the university instructors and students will be provided with educational facilities inside and outside of Afghanistan.

“We follow the existing flow of higher education, thus we enhance it and efforts will be made to establish an education system equal to the world, so we can reach international standards and our flaws will be solved in this regard,” Nadim said.

He also said that the instructors have been provided with a safe environment for teaching.

The Minister of Public Health, Qalendar Ibad, said that educational institutions should be supported for the empowerment of the higher education system in the country.

“Professional and technical education is essential for the empowerment of this government in any aspect. It is obligatory and vital,” he said.

“We are gradually facing a shortage of academic figures and to not face such a situation, we should reconsider our educational institutions and incentivize them,” said Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Lutfullah Khairkhwah, said that Afghanistan needs professional figures.

“If the (Ministry) of Higher Education doesn’t find enough resources for the government, the government may decline,” he said.

The acting Minister of Higher Education pledged to support the private education sector and called on private universities to make further efforts in the reconstruction of universities and private organizations.
