EU’s special representative for Afghanistan said that Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek will host a meeting on Afghanistan in the near future.
Speaking at a press conference in Kabul, Tomas Niklasson said the meeting will be held between the EU and Central Asian countries and three immediate neighbors of Afghanistan will also take part.
“Next week I look forward to meeting colleagues from five central Asian countries, three of which are immediate neighbors of Afghanistan, at EU-Central Asia meeting hosted on Afghanistan by Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek,” said Tomas Niklasson, EU’s special representative for Afghanistan.
Political analysts said that both the Bishkek and Doha meetings have one common point which is creating opportunities for the Islamic Emirate.
“The Bishkek meeting is the preamble of the Doha meeting. The US is trying to achieve in politics what it has lost in war,” said a political analyst, Shakir Hayat.
Tomas Niklasson also said that he travelled to regional countries before coming to Afghanistan, and he discussed different issues of the country.
