World Has No Option but to Engage With Islamic Emirate: Kabir

The deputy prime minister for political affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, said that the world has no option but to engage with the Islamic Emirate.

Speaking at a gathering of regional authorities and residents in Laghman province, the deputy PM said that the Islamic Emirate has met the requirements of recognition and that there is no pretext left for the international community.

“Do not worry about Afghanistan being isolated politically, we are not isolated but a part of the world and the world is engaged with us. The world has no other option except engagement with the Islamic Emirate,” said Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the deputy prime minister for political affairs.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir has called on the diaspora Afghan politicians and political activists to return to country and stop their "destructive" activities.

He stated that no one will be allowed to ruin the current government in Afghanistan.

The deputy minister of vice and virtue who was also speaking at the gathering said that women’s rights have been "unprecedentedly protected" in Afghanistan.

“Heritage is right of women and should be given to them. Marrying off girls to compensate for murders is prohibited. Girls should consent to their married,” said Muhammad Faqir Muhammadi, deputy minister for prevention of vice and promotion of virtue.

According to the political deputy of the PM, 75 percent of the previous Afghan government’s budget was funded by foreigners while the current normal and development budget is fully funded by domestic resources.
