The Ministry of Vice and Virtue (MoVV) said that the leader of the Islamic Emirate has emphasized the need to prevent violations by security forces regarding the treatment of citizens.
Sayed Ali Sediqullah, the deputy in charge of hearing complaints at the ministry told TOLOnews that a military department under this ministry has been established to handle cases of violations by the forces of the Islamic Emirate.
“If the military mujahideen commit violations, a department has been established for them within the Ministry of Vice and Virtue because the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan pays a lot of attention to the mujahideen's violations,” he said.
According to Sediqullah, individuals who commit vice crimes after being advised three times by the enforcers will be imprisoned by the enforcers for one day in the center and for three days in the provinces of the country.
Sediqullah said that no mistreatment will occur during the imprisonment of these individuals.
He told TOLOnews: "If a person does not abstain from vice, they will be imprisoned by the enforcers for one day."
Citizens requested that the Islamic Emirate, especially the Ministry of Vice and Virtue, make more effort to gain greater satisfaction from the citizens.
They insist that individuals who misuse their position against citizens should be identified and punished.
“This is the command of Amir al-Mu'minin that they should treat people well and not create distance, and if distance is created, it will harm their governance,” said Hedayatullah, a resident of Kabul.
“For the military unit that harasses people, we ask the Islamic Emirate to arrange vocational courses for them,” said Mohammad Bilal, a resident of Kabul.
In more than two and a half years of the Islamic Emirate's rule, some citizens of the country have consistently complained about the misconduct of security forces and the inappropriate behavior of the enforcers.
