The process of collecting aid for the victims of the deadly Herat earthquake has started in various provinces of the country.
These donations include medicine, cash, and blood for the injured.
Residents of Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Helmand, Farah, Khost, Paktia, and Nimroz are asking businessmen in the country to provide lasting aid to the victims of the earthquake.
"Collect blood from people and deliver it to Herat at the right time,” said Enamullah Samangani, head of the information and culture department in Kandahar.
“Equipped medical teams were sent to Herat province to help the victims of the earthquake in health and various sectors,” said Mohammad Qasim Riyaz, deputy of the information and culture department in Helmand.
At the same time, the citizens of the country asked domestic and foreign aid organizations to provide immediate assistance to the victims of the earthquake.
“The people of Herat should be helped with cash and non-cash donations, God willing, the donations will be made,” said Mohammad Nabi, a Nemroz resident.
“Today, the youth of Khost province stood up, patrolled the streets, and started a campaign to help these injured people,” said Naqibullah Zaland, a Khost resident.
Rashid Khan Arman, a member of the National cricket team, and Hashmatullah Shahidi an Afghan cricketer and the captain of the Afghanistan national cricket team, expressed their condolences for the victims of the Herat earthquake and announced their assistance to the victims of the event.
