The family of a young doctor who was murdered a few days ago due to disputes between two families in Khost province demanded justice and punishment for the killers.

This family asked the Islamic Emirate to arrest some individuals involved in this case who are still free.

The doctor was named Shaizullah and was murdered ten days ago in the Lakno area in the center of Khost. Six other members of Shaizullah's family were injured in this murder.

Shaizullah had recently graduated from medical college.

"A great injustice has been done to us, and we thank the Ministry of Interior or anyone who has shown sympathy to us, but at the same time, we want the criminals and those involved in this murder to be punished according to Islamic law," said Faizullah Faizi, a member of his family.

"These criminals must be punished in such a way that it serves as a lesson to all people," said Tuti Khan, another member of his family.

Khost security officials said that the killer has been arrested and those involved in this case will be punished.

"On behalf of the security forces, we assure the people that anyone causing insecurity in the area due to personal enmities or under any name, the security forces will take swift and serious action against them," said Taher Ahrar, the spokesperson for Khost's security command.

According to information from Khost's security command, ninety murder incidents occurred in various parts of this province during the year 1402, in connection with which, 55 people have been arrested and their cases have been submitted to court.
