At least two civilians were killed in a Taliban attack in Helmand province on Monday night, local officials said Tuesday.
The provincial governor’s spokesman Omar Zowak confirmed the incident and said it happened on Monday night when Taliban attacked security check posts in Baba Wali area of Greshk district.
Four people were also wounded including two civilians and two soldiers, Zowak added.
The Taliban has not yet commented on the incident.
