The Department of Information and Culture in Badakhshan reports that the number of domestic visitors to recreational areas in this province has increased this spring.

According to the department, since the beginning of the current solar year, hundreds of domestic tourists from various provinces have visited Badakhshan for leisure and entertainment.

Sediqi Lalzad, the Tourism Director at the Department of Information and Culture in Badakhshan, said: "Since the start of the year 1403, a large number of domestic and foreign tourists have traveled to Badakhshan. We can say that dozens of tourists have visited, most of whom were domestic travelers from different parts of Afghanistan."

Several citizens from various provinces who visited Badakhshan expressed satisfaction with the security and enjoyed visiting the local recreational areas.

Mohammad Qarib Hamed, a resident of Logar, stated: "On holidays, we want to visit recreational places, enjoy our time, and engage with our friends and the people of Badakhshan to get to know them better."

Sefatullah, a resident of Maidan Wardak, said: "We came to Badakhshan for recreation, and thankfully, there are no problems. The security is good, and the people of Badakhshan are happy and hospitable. We are enjoying our time here."

Some youths from Badakhshan mentioned that with the provided security, they frequently visit recreational sites and engage in leisure activities.

Abdul Wajid Ebrahimi, a resident of Badakhshan, said: "We play traditional games here, and there are some local games that we play at the provincial level. Many people are present here, enjoying the natural beauty of Badakhshan."

Merajuddin Rahimi, another resident of Badakhshan, said: "I hope that those in various parts of Afghanistan take this opportunity to visit these areas during this season, taking advantage of the secure conditions and favorable environment to enjoy their lives."

Badakhshan, located in the northeast of the country, is one of the provinces with numerous historical and tourist sites.

Based on information from the Department of Information and Culture in this province, over 500 historical and tourist sites have been registered.
