The health condition of the ailing Afghan writer Mohammad Azam Rahnaward Zaryab is stable and he is recovering well, according to his family members.
Zaryab was hospitalized two days ago for weakness, his family said.
His COVID-19 test was negative, but his blood pressure was a bit high, doctors said on Wednesday.
Rahnaward Zaryab is amongst Afghanistan’s famed novelist, short story writer, journalist, and literary figure.
His novels are famous among Persian-speaking countries, including Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikistan.
