The United States Institute of Peace in a report said that with the positive engagement of regional powers with the Islamic Emirate, Kabul has accessed new sources of support from regional powers, including China.

The institute said that the "Taliban" have less reason to comply with the West's demands regarding human rights and making an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

" With new sources of support, including from China and other regional powers, the Taliban have less reason to submit to Western demands on human rights or inclusiveness in their government," the United States Institute of Peace said on X. 

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Islamic Emirate has described the caretaker government's relations with regional countries as good, saying that the West should engage positively with the Islamic Emirate without exerting pressure.

Zabihullah Mujahid added that the embassies and diplomatic missions of the Islamic Emirate are currently active in 22 countries.

"The West should also come forward with positive interaction without using pressure politics and making excuses. The institute's prediction is good advice for them, opportunities should not be wasted. Through diplomatic and normal relations, all unresolved issues will be resolved,” he added.

Political analysts said that the Islamic Emirate, based on policy of neutrality, should maintain good relations with all countries worldwide, including the United States.

“It is essential for the Islamic Emirate to deliver a balanced policy to the countries in the region and far away, which wants to advance the issues through dialogue and peaceful ways,” said Mohammad Matin Mohammadkhil, a political analyst.

“I hope that the caretaker government of Afghanistan in the current situation and with the extension of the mandate of UNAMA will make the necessary changes in its policies and interaction with the world. With changes in the governance system and addressing human rights and the rights of women and girls, it will be able to create the ground for recognition of the Afghan government,” said Najib Rahman Shamal, an international relations analyst.

Previously, the American magazine Foreign Affairs had written that while regional countries have yet to recognize the caretaker government of Afghanistan officially, they still seek close interactions with the Islamic Emirate.
