Islamic Emirate Says Expanding Intl Relations Top Priority

The political deputy of the prime minister, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, in a meeting with some acting ministers, spoke about the expansion of relations between the Islamic Emirate and the world.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, quoting Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, said that the Arg is striving to improve balanced policies with regional and global countries.

According to Mujahid, interacting with the world is among the most important political goals of the Islamic Emirate.

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate said: "We have a very clear foreign policy approach that is balanced. We want good diplomatic relations with all countries based on mutual respect.”

In the past month, the visits and meetings of the Islamic Emirate's officials were mostly focused on expanding relations and joint cooperation with representatives of various countries.

Meanwhile, some analysts said that without the official recognition of the Islamic Emirate by the world, the caretaker government has not made any progress in politics.

"Afghanistan's political relations with the world may be expanding in the transit or economic sector, but the policies that we are developing for recognition (need to address) the policies, principles, and foundations that have been passed by the major countries of the world and the United Nations," said Sayed Ebadullah Sadiq, a political analyst.

"Interactions with Afghanistan have taken place, but none of the countries in the world have yet agreed to officially recognize Afghanistan because the demands that the international community and the people of Afghanistan had for the government have not been met,” Najib Rahman Shamal, an international relations analyst, told TOLOnews.

While no country has taken a step toward officially recognizing the Islamic Emirate, the officials of the caretaker government have always spoken of needing to expand relations with the world; according to the officials of the Islamic Emirate, so far, about twenty of their representations in various countries around the world are active.
