The Kabul Municipality said it has renovated 15 recreational parks in various areas of the city.
According to officials in the Kabul Municipality, the renovation of these parks began last year and has recently been completed.
Nematullah Barakzai, a representative of the Kabul Municipality, told TOLOnews: "The next plans include greening, construction of guardhouses, playgrounds, mosque, and a clinic, which are gradually progressing with the cooperation of the private sector."
At the same time, some residents of the capital are asking the Kabul Municipality to pay more attention not only to the renovation of parks but also to the construction of standard parks.
"Our request from the Islamic Emirate is to build guardhouses inside the park and also to construct a mosque," said Sayed Waheed, a resident of Kabul.
"Building a park has several benefits; it is useful for the environment and also significantly affects the health and wellbeing of the residents of Kabul city," said Ehsan, another resident of Kabul.
Earlier, the Kabul Municipality had announced the creation of eight new parks in different parts of the capital.
