Former National Futsal Coach Diagnosed With Cancer

Mohammad Sayedi, the former coach of the Afghan national under-19 futsal team, has been suffering from colon cancer for some time and is currently undergoing treatment in Iran.

Officials in the Futsal Committee of the Football Federation confirm that Sayedi has been battling this disease for more than six months.

Mohammad Sayedi is now a refugee in Iran and due to poor economic conditions, cannot afford his treatment costs.

A number of futsal fans have launched a fundraising campaign on social networks, calling for the attention of the Football Federation and the Futsal Committee to the condition of the coach.

In recent years, Mohammad Sayedi successfully led under-19 futsal national teams to become the runners-up in Asian competitions.
