Worldwide Coronavirus Cases Reach 22.03 Million

More than 22.03 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 774,989 have died, according to a Reuters tally. 

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The United States has the most number of COVID-19 cases at 5,460,923, with deaths at 170,575. 

Brazil is next with 3,359,570 confirmed cases and 108,536 deaths. 

India is third with 2,702,743 cases and 51,797 deaths. 

Russia is fourth with 932,493 cases and 15,872 deaths, followed by South Africa with 589,886 cases and 11,982 deaths.  

The Philippines is 22nd with 169,213 cases and 2,687 deaths as of Tuesday.
