Pakistan's Minister of State Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Faisal Karim Kundi, said that Pakistan does not allow its soil to be used against any other state and it also hopes that its neighboring countries will also not allow use of their soil against Pakistan.

Talking to media in Peshawar, Kundi said that Pakistan will hold dialogue with neighboring countries including Iran and Afghanistan in this regard.

"In this meeting, it was also mentioned that we should speak with Iran and Afghanistan, our neighboring nations, to prevent terrorists from using their territory against us and our territory against them," Kundi said.

Pakistan will seek the intervention of Islamic Emirate leader Haibatullah Akhundzada to control the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), official sources familiar with the Apex Committee meeting in Peshawar said on Friday.

According to Express Tribune, at the meeting, the civil and military leadership held the banned TTP responsible for the attack in Peshawar this week, and decided to take up the matter with the current government of Afghanistan at the highest level, with a clear message that Pakistan would no longer tolerate "cross-border terrorism."

“The meeting was informed that the Afghan Taliban expressed their inability to take on the TTP. However, Pakistan was not convinced and decided to convey to the Afghan leadership at the highest level that the TTP sanctuaries must be eliminated,” Express Tribune’s report reads.

"In this meeting, building cooperation between the center and the departments, preventing the repeat of the problem, and future plans, have been discussed,” said Tahir Khan, a Pakistani journalist.

However, the Islamic Emirate pledged that the current government will not allow anyone to use Afghanistan's soil against other countries.

"We would never support anybody against Pakistan and we will never allow anyone to use Afghan territory against Pakistan,” said Zabiullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate.

At the Apex Committee meeting in Peshawar, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that terrorists do not occupy an inch of land in Pakistan, including Peshawar, although it is questionable how and where they came.

“As per my information, in Pakistan including this province, these terrorists have not occupied an inch of land. They are moving around, and this is a very good sign. But the questions of how they were able to reach here, who brought them here, these are the questions the nation wants answers for.”
