A delegation of religious scholars from Islamic countries led by Dr. Ali al-Qaradaghi arrived in Kabul today (Thursday) to meet with the officials of the Islamic Emirate.
The delegation will discuss various issues with the Islamic Emirate including the provision of humanitarian assistance to expelled refugees.
"We see many good things in Afghanistan. These adversities will turn into blessings, and we must take steps in this area, and we thank Qatar for the process of facilitating access to this trip for us,” said Ali al-Qaradaghi.
Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Khalil Rahman Haqqani asked the delegation to encourage Islamic countries to increase their humanitarian aid.
"It is necessary for them (the religious scholars delegation) to make trips to all provinces and countries in the future in a sustainable way to campaign for the people of Afghanistan,” Haqqani said.
"The delegation of the religious scholars that came from Qatar wants to discuss the current situation with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate,” said Mohammad Arsalah Kharoti, deputy of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.
Earlier, delegations of religious scholars from Turkey had come to Kabul and discussed with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate the way of education, especially the education of girls in Afghanistan.
