Muttaqi Says Foreign Relations Improving

The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs said that relations between the Islamic Emirate and the countries of the world are improving.

The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of religious sciences in schools and universities at the graduation ceremony of more than 50 students at “Jamia Riazululoom Kabul” and said that the Islamic Emirate has made good achievements in the security and economic sectors.

Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, said: "Administrative corruption has decreased compared to the past and relations with the world are getting better day by day. When the countries of the world accept our visas, they accept our passports, they do business with us, and when we accept this from them, that's recognition."

Meanwhile, the deputy prime minister for administrative affairs, Abdul Salam Hanafi, in this ceremony said that the Islamic Emirate seeks to remove the distance between schools and religious schools.

Abdul Salam Hanafi said: "We must strengthen our religious schools in terms of quantity and quality so that we can guide our society in a correct and healthy way and protect the Islamic system in Afghanistan forever."

However, a number of university professors stressing serious attention to modern sciences along with religious sciences said that the gates of schools and universities should be opened for girls.

“The school doors must be opened and all parts of the society have the right to go to education and also the gates of universities must be opened,” said Emal Dostyar, a university scholar.

“It is good that we have religious schools that teach religious sciences and continue to have schools and universities alongside them, and we would like them to add that in the method of schools and universities, but it is good that they pay attention to how they can open closed doors for women,” said Tafsir Syahposh, a university scholar.

After more than two years, no country, including Islamic countries, has recognized the Islamic Emirate.
