Uruzgan Families of Victims of Foreign Air Strikes Request Support

Families of the victims of air strikes by foreign forces in Uruzgan are demanding support and cooperation from the current government.

Abdul Ali, a resident of Uruzgan, said that in 2007, 10 members of his family, including women and children, died and 4 others were injured in an air attack of foreign forces.

"The air strikes started at 8:00 AM and by 9:00 AM everyone was martyred. 10 people from my family died and 4 others were injured,” said Abdul Ali.

Some residents of the Khas Uruzgan district said that a number of family members lost their lives due to the air strikes of foreign forces, and they are asking for help from the current government.

“In the attack, they martyred 5 people, and a child was martyred in his mother's hands,” said Shah Wali, a resident of the district.

“These people are very tired of the war, there was a war for the last 20 years, especially in Uruzgan, and now you can see that in the village there is no water here,” said Ehsanullah, a member of the victims' family.

Meanwhile, the acting ministry of the interior ministry pledged that efforts are being made to help the families of victims of attacks by foreign forces in the last 20 years in Uruzgan.

“The priority given to these suffering people, the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, will pay full attention to them in the future,” said Sirajuddin Haqqani, acting minister of the Interior Ministry.

Earlier, a number of families of the victims of attacks by foreign forces in Uruzgan asked the International Criminal Court to punish the perpetrators of these events and facilitate compensation.
