After meeting with the Pakistani delegation headed by Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the leader of Pakistan's Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party, Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Foreign Minister, said that they will discuss with this delegation about issues of interest to both sides, including economic and security issues.
Muttaqi also expressed his hope that this delegation will convey a positive message from Afghanistan to Islamabad and solve the existing problems between the two countries.
Muttaqi added: "Maulana is a political and scientific figure, and a great politician, and of course he plays a role in the politics of his country, he plays a role in the regulations and is a prominent figure in the politics of that country. We hope that its effects will be good. As far as we know, the arrival of the delegation may have some message from the other side, and they will share it with the elders here, and from this side, they will share what they hear and see."
Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the leader of Pakistan's Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party, and his accompanying delegation arrived in Kabul today and met and held discussions with the political deputy of the PM’s office, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, and the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and some other officials of the Islamic Emirate.
